This week offers a quieter stretch astrologically, a welcome pause after the intensity of eclipse season. That said, the energy is beginning to build towards a powerful full supermoon in Aries early next week—an invitation for assertive action, clarity, and momentum. With a little distance now from the recent eclipses, it’s worth reflecting on where Pisces and Virgo sit in your chart and considering what’s been highlighted in those areas since August. This is also the first week we are fully immersed in the energy of the metal element. Associated with the lungs and large intestine, this season is all about clearing, releasing, and creating space—both physically and energetically.

Weekly Astrological Transits

Wednesday 1st October

Mercury in Libra Squares Jupiter in Cancer @ 22 degrees

  • Mercury, the messenger and planet of communication, is strong here in Libra—a sign also centred on dialogue, balance, and relationships.

  • In a square to Jupiter, the planet of growth, optimism, and expansion, this alignment can bring opportunities, announcements, or conversations that feel significant and far-reaching.

  • Cancer adds emotion, instinct, and nurturing qualities to the picture, while Libra offers objectivity, fairness, and a relational focus.

  • Together, this can be a great day for expansive dialogue or news that opens new possibilities, but the square aspect warns of excess—things could tip into exaggeration or overwhelm. Emotions may be heightened, so grounding will be key.

Saturday 4th October

Venus in Virgo Conjunct South Node @ 18 degrees

  • Venus, the planet of love, values, and relationships, meets the South Node, a point linked with release, the past, and letting go.

  • In Virgo, a sign associated with structure, routines, health, and attention to detail, this conjunction suggests an opportunity to gently release old patterns in how we connect, both with others and ourselves.

  • Venus is in her fall in Virgo, so the energy can feel humbling or practical rather than overtly romantic. This makes it an excellent moment to reassess habits, commitments, or relational dynamics that may have outlived their purpose.

  • It’s a time to recognise what no longer supports growth and to create space for new ways of relating to emerge.
