About the Event
Seasonal Herbalism with Medical Herbalist and Forager Jessie Martelhof BSc, MNIMH
Learn about the wide-ranging medicinal properties of some UK native wild spring plants including Dandelion, Nettles and Cleavers. These plants all have a long history of use in Western Herbal Medicine. Learn how you can safely identify, harvest, and turn these common weeds into home herbal remedies using simple techniques. Wild plants are high in nutrition and medicinal properties and are FREE! Herbal remedies do not need to be expensive or exotic to be effective. Home-made, foraged remedies may even be more potent then items bought off-the-shelf.
Getting outdoors and tuning into what is growing wild during each season in our locality is a great way to connect with nature and can enhance our own wellbeing.
